EtherCAT: Addressing by DIP switch S1

NOTICE

Material Damage!

On the open unit a dry, non-conductive pollution may only occur. The penetrating pollution into the open housing may not affect the functionality of the device (EN 61800-5-1, pollution degree 1 and 2).

Ensure that no objects fall into the housing when working on the open housing.
Foreign objects can cause short-circuits during operation and thereby destroy the device.

The address setting by DIP switch is prior to addresses via parameter ID34023 'BUS address participant'.

Address range up to 250

Example: address = 3

If you change a fieldbus participant which is addressed by DIP switch, make sure that the address is set correctly to the new device.
